Why choose

plant-based

nutrition?

For your health, for the animals + for the planet

People choose to follow a whole food plant-based diet out of concern for animal or environmental welfare or due to the diet’s health benefits. A well-balanced and varied plant-based diet contributes to managing and preventing chronic diseases. It can decrease the risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and coronary heart disease and it can help to achieve and maintain an optimal state of health.

Hi, I’m Su Anderson

I’m a naturopathic nutritional therapist + a plant-based specialist.

I can help optimise your nutrition and improve your gut health with plant-based foods. I understand what it’s like to be sick and tired all the time, having to run to the bathroom every time you eat and not knowing if you’re giving your body what it needs to feel better. I came to nutrition to help my own digestion and, as a long-term vegan, I also wanted to understand how to be healthy on a plant-based diet. Now, I’m able to do this for others and I can help you too!

I also work with veginners (aka new vegans/plant-based eaters) to give you an easy start into the world of plant-based eating. Don’t know where you’ll get your protein from? I’ve got you covered with a meal plan. Worried about Vitamin B12 deficiency? I’ll show you where to find it in food so you’re getting everything you need to optimise your health.

Here’s how I can help you

ACID REFLUX

Many people suffer from acid reflux, making it difficult to lay flat at night. I offer a nutrition protocol targeting trigger foods while also looking for the root cause of what’s causing the reflux so you can eat without worrying about your symptoms and sleep comfortably.

FATIGUE

Low energy is often about not getting enough nutrients in their diet. I help you optimise your nutrient intake, ensuring you’re getting everything you need from your food and supplements so you can improve your energy and overall health.

IBS

Did you know IBS symptoms can be reduced by modification in diet and lifestyle? I provide a nutrition and lifestyle plan that focuses on getting to the core of what’s causing your symptoms in the first place so you don’t have to suffer every time you eat.

ECZEMA

Let’s work inside out to find what’s causing your eczema starting with your gut

FOOD INTOLERANCES

Most food intolerances are linked to gut issues, so let’s focus on mending it

VEGAN M.O.T.

Make sure you’re getting everything you need from your plant-based food

WEIGHT LOSS

Let’s take a healthy approach to losing weight while eating whole plant-based foods

What to expect during your online consultation

STEP 1

Once you book an appointment via my online booking system, you’ll receive an email confirming the appointment with a link to an online meeting, along with a health questionnaire and diet diary to complete before we meet. You’ll always receive an email asking you to log in to a special platform where your data will be held securely.

STEP 2

On the day of your consultation, click the link and it will take you to a secure website where we will have our consultation. You don’t need to download any software, but you will need a computer or phone with a camera/webcam and working audio.

STEP 3

Unlike typical doctor visits, your initial consultation will be 75 minutes. During this time you and I will go through your questionnaire and diet diary, and discuss your symptoms and your health goals. This time is all about getting to know you. At the end of your consultation, I’ll give you an idea of the type of plan you’ll receive and some tools to get you started.

STEP 4

I will go over your case history and develop a plan that’s just for you. No two plans are ever the same because you are truly unique. I will get this to you within two days of our initial consultation and be in contact to ensure the plan works for you.

Depending on which package you’ve chosen, we may have weekly chats or it may be once a month, but I will always be available to answer your questions. You can use online messaging through the secure platform so you know your health information is safe.
